Raufoss Gård is charming old house in the centre of Raufoss. The main building probably dates back to 1790.
It was converted to a residence and office for the director of the match factory Rødfoss Tændstikfabrik in 1875. It was later used by the ammunitions factory Raufoss Ammunisjonsfabrikk. The building has been restored in the 1900 turn-of-the century style. It was opened to the public in June 1996.
Local artists and exhibitions
You will always find art and handicraft created by artists and local artists at Raufoss Gård. All doors are open, and you are welcome to visit the workshops and studios to watch art being created!
Here you can meet the artists Julie Narum and Marianne Lund, who have their studios/workshops here and who keep the house open to the public. Visit the exhibitions in the gallery, featuring works by the resident artists and by artists renting the gallery. Toten art association and Lion's Club hold their annual exhibitions here.
