Regulations for dogs

This is the rules in Ål for regulations for dogs:

- You need to keep your dog on a leash when you are skiing in prepared cross country ski tracks during the whole season. 
- You need to keep your dog on a leash at Liatoppen biathlon stadion.
- You need to keep your dog on a leash all year in housing areas, areas zoned for public purposes and adapted recreation areas. 

When having your dog with you on a ski trip, make sure he is not of any annoyance to other skiers. Dog owners must also remove dog-faeces  from the ski tracks. 

Everything is according to changes in § 3 and 4 in regulations for dogs in Ål municipality in May 2015. 

Between 1. April and 20. August it is ordinary regulations for keeping your dog on a leash in Ål.
For the consideration of grazers in the municipality you must also keep your dog on a leash between 21. August - 31. October.

The machine prepared tracks must not be used for dog sledding.
