Reindeer Sledding & Ice Domes Guided Tour - Excl. Transport

Combine the authentic experience of reindeer sledding with a guided visit to the magical Tromsø Ice Domes!

Note: The transfer from and to Tromsø is not included for this activity. We expect you to arrive 15 minutes prior to the meeting time at Camp Tamok.

Upon arrival at Camp Tamok, you will head off to explore the ancient part of Sami culture and try the oldest form of transport in the North. As our reindeer herd is some distance from our barking huskies, this activity will start with a short transfer by minibus to our Sami Camp. This fascinating cultural adventure includes reindeer sledding, an introduction to lasso throwing, storytelling about the Sami culture and feeding the reindeer. After the reindeer sledding activity, we will serve lunch and your adventures will continue with a guided tour at the Ice Domes. Get to marvel at the incredible ice sculptures and snow carvings, learn about the construction process of the domes and the impact the snow has for all life in the Arctic and have a non-alcoholic ice shot at the ice bar.

As part of this combination tour, there will be some free time to walk around by yourself and visit the reindeer that are herding next to the Ice Domes.
