Rent Fremad II for boat trips in the Ryfylke fjords

Experience the Ryfylke fjords with Fremad II. You can hire the restored fishing boat, with skipper and crew, for fjord safaris, fishing trips and other events..

Fremad II is one of the oldest vessels in the Norwegian fishing fleet. The wooden boat was built in Lowestoft in England in 1888. It originally had sails, but now it has a 14 liter Scania engine.

The boat was taken out of ordinary fishing in 2007. It was protected by the National Antiquities in 2009 and restored at the Hardanger Ship Conservation Center from 2016 to 2022.

The boat has room for 12 passengers.

In the summer, they arrange fishing trips on selected dates.
