Our Rib-trips are done with experienced seamen that will show you many beautiful and historic places on your way to Trollfjorden. You will get information about local history and there is a good chance you will meet the great seaeagle during your trip. - The trip starts in Svolvaer. Here we see old rorbu(fisherman cabins) that gave inspiration to painters/artists from all over the world. - Oddvaer: An old fishing village with history from all the way back to Viking ages. - Trollfjorden: Few fjords in the world can compare to Trollfjorden. 3km long, with an opening on just 70m width! A channel that penetrates into the 1000m high Trollfjordtind and suddenly stops in the dark and facinating Raftsund. The nature in Lofoten is both scary and dramatic. - Haversand: Small marina for yachting and a favorite spot for swimming and sunbathing in a wild and beautiful fauna. - Skjoldvaer: Today only the main building is left on this windblown island that had about 60 residents the the end of 1800’s. The Vikings had to lay down their shields here before allowed to sailing on to Kjepsoeya and Lillemolla
