In the heart of Ringerike's beautiful cultural landscape lies one of Norway's largest apple orchards – Ringvold Orchard. Here, 11 different apple varieties, plums, and cherries are grown. In the autumn, there is a self-pick option and a farm shop. The garden center is open all year round.
The farm is located right by the E16 before Hønefoss, making it a perfect stop whether you're heading to your cabin or want to combine it with a visit to Kistefos, Hadeland Glassworks, Hønefoss, or other attractions in the area.
Ringvold Botanical is a garden center nestled in this beautiful apple orchard, with stunning views of Tyrifjorden. Here, you can buy cut flowers, garden plants, and flowers, apple juice straight from the farm, local delicacies, baked goods, and ice cream. A very cozy stop for the whole family.
