Covering 3,200 km2, Rendalen is the largest municipality in Southern Norway. Large parts of it consist of wilderness, with a rich animal life. In the heart of the wilderness, far from people, predators like wolves, brown bears, wolverines and lynx still roam about.

In Elverum, a 2 hour drive away, you’ll find the renowned Skogbruksmuseet (Museum for Forestry and Wildlife).
