At the Museum of Coastal Heritage, you can row traditional boats, all by yourself!
The raised Prestelva is a delimited safe area. Here, both children and adults can test their rowing skills, and go on a journey in the river. Learn the difference between calm and "hammer" and how to turn the boat just by the oars. And how does a traditional "styrvol" actually work?
The rowing is self-serviced and parents are responsible for the safety of children. It is mandatory to use float vests and this can be borrowed at the museum. We ask that you follow the security rules posted on the quayside. In case of strong wind or current, the rowing is closed.
In 2017, rowing will be offered 23 June - 30 September.
