Rullestad Active Leisure is located along the E-134 at the head of the lake Rullestad Åkrafjord surrounded by steep mountains. The campsite opened in 2008 and the service building with a bakery, shop and cafe opened in 2010. The scenery around is ideal for those who appreciate outdoor recreation and active leisure. The area has many fine hiking trails and the village lies at the start of Haugesund Tourist Association's marked trails in the inner Etne mountain. Rullestad is the entrance to Åkrafjord Landscape Park and is situated close to Folgefonna National Park. About 2 hours from Haugesund and 20 minutes from skiing activities in Røldal. Building and outdoor areas have universal design.
In the unique servicebuilding you can find kitchen, home bakery, shop, cafe with wood-fired baking oven and full license and toilet facilities. Dinner and pastries are made from scratch with local ingredients, traditional recipes and love. The cafe seats about 100 guests and is open every day during the summer season and on weekends the rest of the year, and at any time for groups to order. The central - yet peaceful - localization makes Rullestad an attractive stopping place on the road between east and west, north and south.
