Enjoy the joys of mountain life at Ryplihytta in Blåfjella-Skjækerfjella National Park with panoramic views of the surrounding mountain areas. Here you can get energy replenishment in nature with good walks in the area.

The Snåsa Mountains are well known for its varied and rich nature and the cabin is a good base for fantastic nature experiences. There are excellent conditions for hiking, fishing and hunting. 

Cabin details
Beds and equipment for 10 people, two bedrooms and a mezzanine floor and 35m2. 
The cabin has solar lighting and is equipped with what is needed in a mountain cabin.
Distance from road: Summer: 15 km. Winter: 17 km from Snåsa and 9 km.

Summer: By car from Breide center and up to the car park at the intersection of Roktdalsveien and Gamsetervegen in Imsdalen where the old mountain path to Gaundalen starts. From here, follow the signposted old mountain trail  up the mountain slope and over Flatfjellet mountain past Finnvollan and down past Ryplia. The cabin is located on the east side of the trail to Gaundalen. From Breide to Kjøbli: 15 km. Remember map and compass.

Winter: The best way to get to Ryplia in winter is from Ismenningen / Grønningen. You can drive Grønningsveien into the car park at Liss-Ismenningen. The road is winter plowed. There is a toll road just within the last farms in Imsdalen. There are no marked trails to Ryplihytta during the winter, and it is a weather-exposed area, so you must be sure of GPS and navigation.

Rental of the cottage:
The cabin booked on Here you can also buy fishing and hunting licenses. For manual booking there is an invoice fee of NOK50. The cabin is equipped with a key cabinet with combination lock. More information about this and the code can be found on the order confirmation from Inatur after completing the booking.
