Sámi Safari Camp, beautifully situated in Tysfjord, between Laponia in the east and Lofoten in the west. At the camp we offer sámi mindfulness – a guided experience into sámi nature and culture.
Sámi Safari Camp is founded and owned by Anna Kuoljok. We have 3 comfortable Lavvu Rooms that can be set as double, twin or family rooms. There is a firewood heater in each Lavvu, and even if it is cold outside, your room will be warm.
The washroom is situated
around 20-50 meters from the Lavvus. In the Lavvu Lounge you can have a drink by the fireplace or we can arrange fine dining for up to 12 people.
In the traditional Lavvu we tell stories from the time of our ancestors until present day.
During the summer you can enjoy the midnight sun, and in the winter it is possible to see the northern light dance upon the starry sky.
