Sømna kro og gjestegård

Sømna guesthouse is located in the community centre Vik in Sømna municipality. Approximately 40 km south of Brønnøysund and 350 km north of Trondheim.

At Sømna Kro and Gjestegård you can really enjoy life! Here you can go hiking, cycling, paddling, fishing, eat good food and sleep well!

All our rooms have wireless wifi and TV and a private bathroom with shower. The rooms are adapted for the disabled and allergy sufferers, so animals are unfortunately not allowed with us.

In the reception you will find our own local food store with over 400 products from various local food producers throughout Norway, here you will also find the tourist information where we have a good overview of various destinations, attractions and events.

The inn serves breakfast buffet, lunch buffet, a la carte menu, homemade pizza and local specialties in both food and drink. The inn has a bar with all rights and also regularly arranges various culinary evenings and other events with live music.

Sømna Kro & Gjestegård also has very good conference facilities with conference rooms for up to 40 people. Cinema / conference room / banquet room with or without amphitheater for up to 100 people, as well as a cozy fireplace room that can accomodate up to 50 people.

Electric car charging: the guest house has three Tesla chargers, two of which are specific to Tesla and one that can charge other electric cars.

There is also rental of regular bicycles and 4 electric bicycles. We also rent out recreational kayaks that we have lying in the harbor for Bjørnvika camping.

A short walk from Sømna Kro you will find Sømna village yard, shops, café, sports hall and stadium, swimming pool and fitness center.

The area is excellent for outdoor activities. Here you can go hiking along marked trails, fish in mountain lakes or use one of the country's most beautiful archipelagos for swimming, kayaking, fishing etc. Sømna municipality belongs to Trollfjell Geopark, which in 2019 was recognized as a UNESCO Global Geopark.
