Sandbekk Mill, Rakkestad

The recently restored mill at Sandbekk is the last of its kind in the county, and the only one with an overshot wheel.

The first mill on site was a watermill from 1650. The current mill was built in 1904 and is today restored.
The mill celebrated its centenary in 2004 after four years of restoration work to bring it back to its original state. Sandbekk Mill is located in Degernes, turn off from RV 22.
