Sanden beach in Naustdal

In the small village of Naustdal you will find the popular bathing spot Sanden. Here you can enjoy lazy days in the sun on the sandy beach, take a refreshing swim or hire a kayak and take a paddle trip on the Førdefjord.
At Sanden you will find something for every taste. There is plenty of space to frolic if you want to rig yourself up with a towel and parasol and enjoy lazy days, but there are also several activities you can try your hand at. Here, a volleyball court has been prepared so that you can play sand volleyball, there is a diving board and a floating jetty, and you can borrow kayaks, canoes and SUPs from DNT. Take a walk to the banana island, where you will find the sculptures Kyra (the cow) and Budeia (milkmaid), which were made by Oddvar Torsheim and Kjartan Slettemark, two well-known artists from Sunnfjord.
You can find a toilet at the Best petrol station, which is located right next to Sanden.
