Senja Camping

The Senja scenery is wild, beautiful and diverse with a rich animale life and good fishing possibilities in lakes and river-systems.

Senja Camping is located by Trollbuvannet Lake , which is a part of the Lakselvvassdraget river system. The fishing is good here, for both salmon and sea trout, and both fishing licenses and boat rentals are available at the camping site. Hunting possibilities on government property is also nearby.

Senja Camping was established in 1987, and the cabins are of good standard. Our goal is to provide an excellent vacation spot for families with children, which is why we have concentrated on creating an environment with activities available for children and adults alike.

Senja Camping has a very popular large bouncy pillow in the middle of the camp, and there are several different species of domestic animals on the property. Furthermore, Senja Camping offers the rental of rowboats, pedal boats, and canoes , and we are also authorized to sell fishing license for fishing in the river system. If you're lucky, you can prepare your catch over a campfire or at our barbecue facilities on the lake front.

Senja Camping is a good starting point for tours to several sights and attractions on Senja. You can, among others, visit protected buildings, museums and Sami "gammer" (turf huts), and have a close-up look at how life was in earlier ages. You can also visit the infamous Senja Troll, a long-time favourite among children of all ages. In addition to all these sights and attractions, many people come to Senja to experience the magnificent nature, with it's huge contrasts between the green, idyllic lowlands on the east side, and spectacular breath-taking mountains on the west side of the island.

We guarantee a unique holiday experience for your whole family if you come visit us! You can either rent a cabin, bring your house wagon, or use your own tent.

CABINS
We have a total of 9 cabins in different sizes. From big 6 person cabins to smaller 4 person cabins. All of the cabins are equipped with a mini-kitchen with refrigerator and the most necessary kitchen equipment. In addition all the cabins have a TV.

Rates may vary throughout the season - tourist season lasts from 20th June to 20th August.

Prices include free wireless internet access.

Big cabin

This cabin has 2 bedrooms, with 1 bed(120cm) and 1 bed( 75cm )in each bedroom, a livingroom, bath with shower, and kitchen. It also has a washing machine and dishwasher. 2 extra beds for children/small adults, in the entre, length 175cm.

6-person cabin 32kvm (Cabin A,B og C)

Our 6-person cabins (3) have two bedromms with three beds in each. These cabins have bath with shower and are equipt with pillows and blankets. Sheets are for rent.

4-person cabin 22kvm (Cabin F)

We have one of this 4-person cabin which has one bedrom with 4 beds. This cabin also has bath with shower and is equipt wiht pillows and blankets. Sheets are for rent.

4-person cabin 12kvm (Cabin D and E)

These two cabins have not water and therefore they are not equipt width bath and shower. Except for this, they are equally equipt as the 22-kvm cabins.

4-person cabin 15kvm (Cabin G, H and I)

These cabins have 4 single beds. They are one room cabins, equipped with kitchenware, pillows and blankets. Sheets are for rent.

No bath or shower.

4-person "Ski cabin" with toilet and shower

This cabin has 1bedroom, 1 bed(120cm) and 1 bed(75cm), and a sleeping cough in the living room. It lies quietly about 200 meters from the camping site. The cabin has a shower and toilet, as well as a fire place. TV included.
