Sundre is a small and nice place to go shopping, where most of the shops in Ål are gathered within a small area. In the Culture House you find a cafe, library with free Internet access, galleries, tourist information office, gym, health care etc.

The Ål-day is arranged the last Saturday of July every year, with outdoor food serving, great offers and acitivities for both adults and children. The day ends with a barbeque and dancing outdoors!
