Sail through Lysefjorden on the Brim Explorer and admire the famous Preikestolen tower high above the water. See waterfalls and get close to nature, and keep a lookout for wildlife.
On the 3.5-hour cruise, you will first visit Fantahålå, a narrow cove and cave along the fjord, and uncover its secrets.
Next, you continue to Preikestolen. Translated, it means the “Preacher’s Pulpit.” Preikestolen is a sight unlike any other in Norway. The rock formation, towering over 600 metres above you, seems to defy the laws of nature, and the view is truly breathtaking.
Finally, you will see the 75-metre-tall “Whiskey” waterfall, where your guides will explain how it got its name.
As the guides share stories and the history of Lysefjord, keep your eyes open for wildlife as well. During the cruise, you may spot a variety of animals. Besides the abundant birdlife, there is a chance to see rarer species such as sea eagles, mountain goats, and possibly even porpoises.
