Skaslien Guesthouse is currently run by Elin and Ottar Skaslien. Both trained as chefs, but today Ottar leads the kitchen while Elin manages daily operations. They represent the third generation to run the guesthouse, which was first established by Ottar’s grandmother in 1952.
Our servers are happy to recommend drinks to complement your meal, from locally produced raspberry or apple juices to excellent wines and cocktails. Skaslien is renowned for its kitchen and has won several awards and recognitions for culinary excellence.

Monday - Saturday: 12 am - 9 pm
Kitchen hours
• Lunch: 12 am - 3 pm
• Dinner: 4 pm - 9 pm
• Bar open until 11 pm
• Or by special arrangement
