Slettnes Wildlife and Cultural Heritage Site - The road was built by emergency workers in the 1930s and winds its way along the top of a raised beach on round pebbles.
It takes us to Varnesovnen – a cave just by the high-water mark which was used for the evacuation in the autumn of 1944. Daumannsvika, Hollendervika and Steinvåg bays. Continue to Molvika bay where the beach is full of stones. Respect your surroundings, tread carefully and follow the marked trails. The trail starts just by Slettnes Lighthouse.
