Snow caving in Norwegian mountains for beginners

Røyrvik – A nature pearl in the hart of Norway. With our fun and experienced instructors, you'll learn how to construct the snow shelters that, will keep you warm, comfortable and safe during you're stay. This with little more than a snow saw and a spade. You'll learn not just how to build them. But also why we build them as shelters. By building and sleeping in a snow cave, you learn the survival skills that we use when we are on the mountain, and when the weather turns for the worst. This is a great skill for any outdoor enthusiast to have, if you ever got surprised on the mountain in bad weather. You will be amazed how comfortable a snow cave actually is. You will eat and sleep the night away while the stars and the northern light twinkles over your cave.
