We drive east through the impressive valley Adventdalen towards Sassendalen. We decide which route to take depending on the conditions. When arriving on the deserted east coast we will see powerful icebergs, glacier fronts and the remains of past polar-bear hunting! If we are lucky, we may even get a glimpse of the polar bear – the King of the Artic.
We will pick you up at your hotell and drive you to our office where you will get your clothes and briefing before the trip starts. The route will depend on the weather and driving conditions.
We drive east through the impressive valley of Adventdalen towards Sassendalen, which is yet another huge valley cutting from east to west. We turn east through the magnificent Sassendalen and decide which route to take east depending on the conditions. Normally we cross Nordmannsfonna and drive down the glacier Usherbreen to Mohnbukta. Now we find ourselves on the deserted east coast where we will see powerful icebergs, glacier fronts and the remains of past polar-bear hunting! If we are lucky, we may even get a glimpse of the polar bear – the King of the Artic.
We make several stops along the way and enjoy a hot lunch when we arrive
