Experience the Lyngen Alps up close by taking a guided snowmobilesafari. We drive along fjords and mountains with a amaizing view.
This tour is conducted by XLyngen. We have a rich animal life so on the way you migt see eagles,fox or moose. Our Trails are longer than others,and we can drive up to 300 meters above sea. On our way we will stop on a viewpoint where you can take photoes and enjoy the moment. We always do small groups maximum 16 pers pr. tour. When we return from the snowmobile safari, we serve a delicius home made meal, in our panorama restaurant on the edge of the wharf. The snowmobiles seat two people and you take it in turn to drive Follow the guide's instructions You must be above the age of 18 and hold a valid driving license to drive a snowmobile.
DEPARTURE TROMSØ:
Meeting time at 08:30am at the Prostneset bus terminal. Look for the Arctic Route bus towards Lyngen. Ask the driver that you are on the passenger list to ensure that you are on the right bus.
Return to Tromsø at ca 16:15 (after 13.march you will arrive in Tromsø ca 16:45)
MEET AT XLYNGEN:
Meetingpoint: meet up 10.45 at XLyngen
Included: guide, insulated body suit, helmet, warm meal and drink
Duration: 2,5-3 hours
Minimum 2 pers - max 16 pers
Possible with pick up Svensby at 10:20 from the ferry pier. Please advise us in advance.
Guests under 18 and guests without a valid driving licence are not allowed to drive the snow mobile.
