Combine the thrill of driving your own snowmobile through the remote wilderness of the Arctic, with a magical visit to the Tromsø Ice Domes Snow Park.

This tour is conducted by Norwegian Travel.

This option does not include bus transportation. Please arrive at Camp Tamok at 10:15am (10:15).
At Camp Tamok, you will be warmly greeted by your guide and outfitted with all the necessary gear and clothing, including thermal suit, boots, gloves and helmet. Our expert guides will provide thorough safety instructions on how to drive a snowmobile, ensuring everyone feels confident and safe before heading out on the tour.

Follow your tour guide and navigate along snowy trails, passing snow-covered mountains, valleys, frozen rivers, and lakes.

You will share a snowmobile with another person, taking turns as the driver and passenger. Halfway through the tour, we’ll have a short break where you'll swap places, ensuring both of you have the chance to drive the snowmobile.

After the tour, you can relax and warm up with a hot meal and drink by the open fire inside one of the lávvus (indigenous Sámi tent). During your meal, a camp host will inform you where and when you are expected for the second part of your activity: a visit to Tromsø Ice Domes Snow Park.

Enter the park and discover the magic of the snow and ice sculptures. Wander around by yourself through a mesmerizing display of snow and ice sculptures and explore our domes. Marvel at the amazing art coming to life with light in its natural surroundings of pristine nature and peaceful Arctic landscapes. Get close to one of the most iconic animals of Northern Norway: visit the reindeers near the Snow Park.

During peak season, we might split the group to avoid large groups. Half of the group will start with a warm meal in the lavvu before heading out on their snowmobile tour.
