Have you ever been to the USSR? Welcome to our Arctic time machine and experience the real Soviet atmosphere far in the north – in the ghost town Pyramiden.
Let’s travel through time and go back to the USSR with a journey to Pyramiden!
You will step into the history! Pyramiden is a town “frozen” in time where in the 1970s-1980s a perfect socialism model system was built. In 1998 Pyramiden was frozen (preserved), but its infrastructure built in the Soviet period has continued to stand.
Anyone who has spent at least a couple of hours in Pyramiden will have noticed this place’s uniqueness. With the whole atmosphere of the past perfectly saved around you, you’ll stay in the cosy and renovated hotel with original and authentic interiors in the restaurant.
Pyramiden is a real open-air museum with the northernmost film-stock cinema in the world.
