Snowshoe Safari to Kirkeporten

Explore the northern wilderness on snowshoes, and enjoy the stunning scenery of arctic winter. Snowshoes are designed to walk on a thick layer of snow and make it much easier to do the walk to Kirkeporten, one of the small miracles along the coast of Northern Norway. This natural arch provides a very special view of the North Cape.

Our Snowshoe Safari starts from our BaseCamp North Cape in Skarsvåg, the northernmost fishing village in the world. We walk through a unique arctic wilderness, and the scenery is stunning with mountains, fjords and endless ocean. Our chase does not include any motorized transportation, but on snowshoes as true explorers, listening to the sound of silence, and still just minutes from our BaseCamp.
