Sognefjellshytta is situated 1,400 meters above sea level at the NorwegianScenic Route Sognefjellet, northern Europe’s highest mountain pass.
Sognefjellshytta offers spectacular views and accommodation in comfortable rooms of varying standards and price categories.
There are rooms with shower and toilet with beds made - or rooms of a basic standard. Basic rooms have a quilt and pillow but the beds are not made up. There is a wash basin in the room. There are showers in the basement and also in toilets on the same level as the rooms. Some rooms have a fantastic view of Smørstabbtindane, Fannråken and Hurrungane!
The kitchen at the Sognefjellshytta has been developed over the last few years. Our chef has been working hard and his given his own personal touch to the high-mountain menu. During the evening we serve set menus with three-course meals. We are fully licensed to sell wine and beer with the meal.
