The Sognefjord extends more than 200 km inland. Experience the beautiful Norwegian winter by taking the Sognefjord in a nutshell Winter tour.

Book online here - NB: This trip is not available winter 2020/2021.

The Sognefjord is called the King of the fjords for a good reason: it is the longest fjord in Norway and the second longest in the world. During autumn the fjord and landscape displays an array of different colors. The Sognefjord is enveloped with exceptional natural beauty all year round, and during the winter season you may even see snow-capped mountains, frozen waterfalls and scenic wintery forests.

This tour includes a trip by express boat on the magical and sometimes icy Sognefjord, as well as train journeys through spectacular winter nature on the famous Flåm Railway and the scenic Bergen Railway.

This tour requires an overnight stay in the village of Sogndal, but you can also choose to extend your journey over several days where you can really get to explore winter Norway! You can start your tour from Oslo or Bergen and you customize the tour by adding hotels and activities of your choice.

Travel tip
An overnight stay in Sogndal is required on this tour, but we highly recommend adding additional overnight stays and activities along the way! The tour route offers several opportunities for activities and overnight stays in quaint villages such as Voss or Flåm.

Dress warmly - Norway and the fjords can get very cold during winter!

NB: This trip is not available winter 2020/2021.
