The Sognefjord - The dramatic and friendly landscape claims to be one of the most beautiful travel destinations in the world.
Sognefjord in a nutshell – Huge fjord, huge experience
The Sognefjord is Norway's longest and deepest fjord and stretches more than 200 kilometres inwards to the foot of the Jotunheimen Mountains.
The Sognefjord in a nutshell round trip combines a beautiful boat journey on the Sognefjord, with a spectacular train journey on the Flåm Railway.
You can start your tour from Oslo, Bergen or Voss and the tour can be taken as a one-way trip or as a round trip with a return to your starting point.
The Sognefjord in a nutshell trip can be taken as a day trip, but we highly recommend that you to take the trip as a longer experience over several days. Feel free to spend a few nights in one of the small villages along the Sognefjord where you can join in on exciting activities, or to find peace in the inspiring landscape.
