Sota Sæter is a family operated lodge in Skjåk, by the gateway to Breheimen National Park.
This mountain cabin is a fairytale-like place to spend the night, before heading out to the wilderness of Breheimen. The name "sæter", that means “summer dairy” comes from the long history as a traditional dairy farm, for over 100 years. Nowadays Sota Sæter operate solely as a vacation lodge based on outdoor adventures and mountain relaxation. The nature surrounding the cabin offers both exposed, airy peaks, as well as easier hikes.
Experience the magical view from the top of Tverrådalskyrkja (2088 metres above sea level), bring your fishing rod to an idyllic mountain lake or plan your hut-to-hut hike.
If you want to stay at Sota Sæter for several days, they offer both guided hikes, rafting and canyoning.
The kitchen at Sota Sæter offers culinary experiences for their guest. They have a large focus on locally produced, high quality food. Your stay will include complimentary breakfast and dinner service. The nearby towns, Skjåk and Lom, also have many famous restaurants and shops to explore as well.
