Skjervungsrunden is a gentle, pleasant trip through breathtaking scenery in the heart of the national park. Most of the trail leads across marshes at 850–1000 m above sea level.
Starting point is Spåtind Fjellstue. After 1 km, the trail turns right towards Skjervungsrunden. This is an 8 km round-trip through gentle terrain, and leads back to the hotel. If you opt to continue, you are now entering Langsua National Park. After another 1 km, you will find a sign towards Rokvamsætra. This is a round-trip trough spectacular national park terrain, direction Ormtjønnskampen.
At the end of lake Oppsjøen, there is a climb towards Rokvamsætra before the trail leads back down to Oppsjøkrysset. From Oppsjøkrysset, the distance back to the hotel is 4 km.
The full distance is approx. 10 km, and the trail is groomed throughout the winter season.
