Florø
Stabben Lighthouse

Stabben Lighthouse is uniquely placed in the shipping lanes. The lighthouse completely covers the rocky outcrop on which it was built.
In 1866/-67, a sturdy lighthouse with a solid reinforced stone and mortar foundation was built on a slippery, rounded-off skerry in the middle of the shipping lane.
Stabben Lighthouse is one of the most distinctive lighthouses in Norway, and it is easily visible both from the shipping lane and from the coastal town of Florø.
