Stedje Camping

Stedje Camping is a short distance from the sjøkanten area and the Extra food store, Jysk and Biltema on the sjøkanten. A 10-minute walk takes you to the center of Sogndal with the shopping center and the park with a cafe and play area for the kids.

Activities near Sogndal

With Sogndal as a base, it takes approx. 1 hour drive to Jostedal with activities such as guided glacier walks, rafting and canyoning. From Sogndal it takes approx. 40 minute drive to Fjærland with the Brevasshytta, Norwegian Glacier Museum, Fjærland Fjordstove with delicious food and drink and Fjærland Guiding which offers SUP, kayaking and Dampen Sauna.

From Stedje Camping, it takes about 15 minutes to drive to Kaupanger with ViteMeir, Vesterland swimming pool and playground, De Heibergske Samlinger - Sogn Folkemuseum, Kaupanger Stave Church and Fjord Cruise from Kaupanger - Gudvangen.

Important information about payment

Stedje Camping is self-service, but the employee will check in the evening if you have paid. Payment can be made online using Vipps or PayPal on arrival. Please include the car's registration number during payment to facilitate the verification of payment.

Check out is at 12.00 the following morning. It is not possible to reserve in advance, it is a first-come, first-served basis.

Please note that there are no cabins for rent at Stedje Camping, there are only campsites and tents. New electricity poles have been installed, which provide a safe connection to electricity, and clean sanitary facilities. Sanitary facilities and showers are of an older date, but work as they should. For a shower, you must have 10 kroner, a coin in the machine.
