Steen & Strøm is a large department store right in Oslo's city centre, with a number of well-known and attractive brands gathered under one roof. Across the store's six spacious floors you'll find an abundance of fashion and lifestyle products, from classic to cutting-edge.
Among the brands available at Steen & Strøm are Sandro, Maje, Filippa K, Gucci, Hugo Boss, Fredrik & Louisa, Juicy Couture, Polo Ralph Lauren and Tiger of Sweden. They also have multi-brand shops such as Collage The Shop.
The basement has a food court with good lunch spots and specialised food stores including Lakrids liquorice, Eat Thai, Whats Soup, Summerbird, Los Tacos, SOT Burger og Jonathan Sushi.
Steen & Strøm offers Global Blue tax-free shopping.
Steen & Strøm's history dates all the way back to 1797, when Samuel Strøm opened a store at the corner of Prinsensgate and Kongensgate. The department store was last upgraded in 2021. It is part of Promenaden Fashion District, Oslo's new area for high-end shopping.
