The stone star, Steinstjerna, also called the death star (Dødssjødno) is located at Sele. It's formed as a star with three pointy spikes.
Triangular graves are among the rare ones. The stone star is 0.5 meters high and built of pebbles. The three points of the star measure approximately ten meters from the centre. The star was significantly restored in 1935. The grave has not been excavated, and we, therefore, do not know who was buried here, or when it happened.
How to get there
Access from RV510 at Longholskrossen and further on FV245 (Selevegen). Take the exit to Rindavegen and drive the road to the end. The stone star is located just southwest of the last farm on the road, with a lovely view of the sea. Signposting informs about the star as well as other graves nearby.
