If you drive from Mosvik towards Straumen, along the Fv755, and at the road to Inderøy Gårdsbryggeri you will see a nice mural of a raccoon. It was made by Hama Woods in connection with the Mid-Norwegian Art Festival at Sund Folkehøgskole.
Hama Woods is a sjablongartist, based in Oslo. In a search for ways to communicate the importance and revival of nature, Hama Woods' stencils intuitively focus on a sociological approach to greed and human consumption and its direct effect on our natural environment.
Her works are characterised by the use of hand-cut, multi-layered stencils applied with spray paint. Her hope is to empower and challenge viewers to come to their own conclusions and to re-evaluate the choices they make that affect the present and the future.
