Suldalsheiane in Ryfylke is a part of the SVR Ryfylkeheiane Nature Reserve and an eldorado for outdoor adventures all-year round.
Because of the Stavanger Trekking Association's network of trails, there are countless options for walkers - both one-day walks and walks requiring overnight stays. There are miles of marked and unmarked tracks both in summer and winter (see separate map). The Gullingen area is an excellent starting point for walks on the Suldalsheiane moors. Gullingen lies 500 meters above sea level, only a day's walk from Reinsnuten (1144 meters), Napen (1350 meters) and other peaks. There are boats and canoes for hire in the area as well as good fishing lakes and hunting terrain.
