Skålbergsætra is Odalstundet's museum site in Austvatn, Nord-Odal, where the buildings and landscape appear as they did when the site was operated.

New life on the summer pasture with a "budeie" in the summer!

Skålbergsætra in Austvatn, Nord-Odal, was a traditional summer pasture until 1960. After many years of decay and overgrowth, ANNO museum and Odalstunet have restored the buildings and landscape, and after an absence of 50 years, the "budeia" (the responsible on the summer pasture) has once again taken over the farm.

In summer, the pasture is open every day from 12-17. Feel free to bring a packed lunch and enjoy the peace and quiet at sætervangen. On Wednesdays there are demonstrations of primal cooking and cheese making. Sale of home-made sour cream every day while stocks last.

Catering
Coffee and waffles are served on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

For details regarding opening hours, see odalstunet.no

Access
Access from RV 209, along Østmosætervegen, exit after about 8 km towards Skålbergsætervegen. Toll fee.
