The hotel is named after Ole Tobias Olsen, who is credited as “the father” of the Nordland Line of the Norwegian railways. Fittingly, the hotel is decorated with old photos and historical objects that highlight railway history. Certainly these give the hotel a distinctive character. But there’s more: as a guest, you stay in a spacious hotel room named after one of the old train stations, and your breakfast is served in “Spisevogna”, a room furnished as an old dining car.

How to get here
The town of Mo i Rana is situated at the head of the Ranfjord, and is conveniently reached by road, rail or plane. Highway E6 passes through the town.
Mo i Rana is 230 km south of Bodø, 88 km north of Mosjøen, and 480 km north of Trondheim. The town is only 40 km from the Swedish border, from which it can be reached via highway E12.
The train journey on the Nordland Line is a railway adventure not to be missed! The hotel is situated just a five-minute walk from the train station. A 15-minute drive from the town centre is Mo i Rana Airport; the airport bus stops right in front of the hotel.
