Suteren bathing area and Røsæg beach, Rakkestad

Welcome to use the Suteren bathing area with its rocky and sandy beaches.
The Suteren bathing area is ideally located by Glomma, Norwys longest river, and when you drive in you pass the cabin and come to a large car park with an outdoor area and there may be grazing animals in the area. From the car park, you can get down to the bathing areas via a path that runs in steep and demanding terrain, here you pass gapahuks gathered in a small yard that can be borrowed, there is also a gapahuk down on the rocks with a lovely view of Glomma. The other path you can follow is a little longer and goes through the grazing area from the outhouse and down around the headland.

Røsæg beach - this is to the left from the path that comes by the shelter - here there is a long stone path along the water's edge that leads to Røsæg beach - and this beach is considered Rakkestad's riviera. Beach access depends on the water level in Glomma - at low tide the path is easily visible.
