Swimming spots in Grue
In Grue you'll find several popular swimming spots, mainly located in Finnskogen. Here you will find many lakes suitable for a refreshing dip!
Skasen v/Finnskogen Tourist and Wilderness Centre
The bathing area is located by Lake Skasen. There is a long sandy beach here that is quite shallow. Boat jetty. Skiftebu.
Finnskogen Tourist Centre is located in the same area, where you can buy dinner and ice cream.
The site is around 12 kilometres from Kirkenær town centre, along county road 201.
Frysjøen lake
The lake has many small coves with sand or pebbles and a jetty.
Rotbergsjøen lake
Long and wide sandy beach along the road. Very shallow. Popular spot in summer. The lake warms up quickly as it is relatively shallow.
Rotbergsjøen is located along county road 202.
Røgden lake
On the way between Kirkenær and Finnskogtoppen, you'll find a small sandy beach along the road.
