Lofoten Seaweed opens up the seasons pop-up restaurant - Tangeriet
We welcome you to an exciting dining experience in our seasonal pop-up restaurant. Our international chef, Jacek Kukiełka, will be performing seaweed-wonders in our 5-course tasting menu.
Lofoten Seaweed combines the world’s best produce with the world’s oldest traditions. Jacek has a strong passion for local produce and foraging. He boasts 14 years of experience working all over the world, from Japan and Vietnam, to a Michelin restaurant in Finland. His unique combinations between Asian and Nordic flavours are exactly what signatures Lofoten Seaweed.
The menu is largely made up of local products and hand harvested seaweed from Nappstraumen, the 4th strongest underwater current in the world. Over the course of the evening you will be introduced to several species, including the truffle seaweed, a chef-favourite, dulce – used as a beer snack by the Vikings, and winged kelp (wakame), a kelp that has been used traditionally in Norway for centuries.
We invite you for an extraordinary tasting experience in our charming restaurant in Napp.
