Taste of Norway

Here you can experience Norwegian flavours in atmospheric surroundings inspired by deep forests, high mountains, traditional village life and life by the sea.

At Taste of Norway, the meal is about more than food. Norwegian ingredients, local traditions and stories from across the country come together to create an experience where the senses lead the way. The long table is set with a flavourful buffet, featuring dishes from different parts of Norway that celebrate traditional flavours while giving familiar ingredients a new and exciting expression.

Taste of Norway is open from May to September and offers a warm and informal atmosphere. The staff welcome you with genuine hospitality, and along the way you can also experience Norwegian history, culture and traditions.

For those looking for a smaller and more intimate dining experience, the restaurant also offers Little Taste of Norway all year round. In this part of the restaurant, sharing boards and traditional Norwegian dishes are served in a homely setting, with a focus on good flavours, a relaxed atmosphere and the true joy of Norwegian food.

Both Taste of Norway and Little Taste of Norway are ideal for anyone who wants to experience something authentic in Bergen, whether you are visiting the city for the first time or already know it well.

If you are curious about Norwegian food culture, this is where you can enjoy an authentic taste of Norway, with food, drink, nature, culture and history in one complete experience, right in the heart of Bergen.
