Lom
Teigen Gard is located near Lom town center, in the heart of the mountain kingdom. The farm is a great starting point both for invigorating mountain hikes on foot or on skis in Jotunheimen, or if you want exciting activities and flavorful food experiences in Lom town center.
Just 2.8 km west of Lom sentrum is Teigen Gard, a perfect starting point for mountain hikes in Jotunheimen or exciting experiences in Lom. On the farm you can stay overnight in the cozy stabbur cabin with a living room, kitchenette, bathroom, and four beds.
Teigen Gard also rents out the smallholding Brekkøye in Bøverdalen and Brekkøysetra – a genuine mountain pasture experience at 900 meters above sea level.
Brekkøye Småbruk is an idyllic farm in Bøverdalen, 11 km west of Lom sentrum. The house has electricity and running water, and includes a living room, kitchen, two bedrooms with a total of 4 beds, a bathroom with shower, and there is an outhouse near the house. By the entrance there is a spacious deck with outdoor furniture.
At the mountain pasture Hovde, it is possible to stay overnight at Brekkøysetra, which is sheltered and nicely situated at 900 m above sea level. The summer farm (seter) is located 23 km west of Lom sentrum, and here you can find peace and quiet in simple and cozy surroundings. The pasture house has a kitchen with a gas stove, a living room with sofa, dining table and wood-burning stove, and a bedroom with 3 beds. In the stream that runs right outside the seter you’ll find fresh, clean mountain water.
