Did you know that the rim of your new car may have been your grandmother's coffee pot? If you visit the Aluminum Museum you will get to know why.
After two years, the Aluminum Museum in Holmestrand can welcome a new exhibition as modern and forward-looking as the aluminum industry is. The Aluminum Museum, which is a department of the Vestfold Museums, opened in 2002 and is the only one in Norway to have told the rich Norwegian tradition of further processing aluminum. The museum also communicates the industry's value chain and product development from the very beginning to today's high-tech business.
In an exciting exhibition architectural environment with parallels to innovation and development, the metal's properties and Holmestrand's history are communicated in a national and global perspective.
With the help of modern dissemination methods, digital solutions and updated design, the audience, regardless of age and gender, ethnic background and knowledge, is welcomed by the Aluminum Museum.
