Eastern Norway Innlandet LILLEHAMMER

The Auggedal Round (64 km)

  • Jernbanegata 2, Lillehammer

  •  /  km From You

Pleasant, reasonably gentle route along narrow country lanes with minimal traffic. Popular amongst local cyclists. Ideal for team time trials. Can be cycled in either direction.

With Lillehammer Station as starting point, ride north along Kirkegata and Fåberggata – past Storhovet. Follow route 312 (Gudbrandsdalsvegen), turn left down the hill, and cross the river by Fåberg.

Take route 253 to Jørstadmoen, turn right onto route 315 (Baklivegen) by the Joker grocery store, and continue to Segalstad Bru. Turn left onto route 255 (Vestringsvegen) towards Forset. Make a left turn onto route 204 (Brubakken), and go straight ahead onto route 310 by Brua Museum. After approx. 15 km, turn right to continue on route 310 down to Vingrom. Immediately after the hairpin bends, turn left onto route 331 (Vingromsvegen). Follow route 331 (Vingromsvegen) to Vingnes, and turn right onto route 253 (Jørstadmovegen).

Ride across the Vingnesbrua bridge, and up Bryggeveien back to start.

Excellent ride in either direction, but the most common is anti-clockwise as described above.
