This idyllic pavilion was built for Karl Kildal’s daughter around year 1900. Today it serves a charming and romantic bridal suite during the wedding season, but is also ideal for other occasions.



The building enjoys a secluded setting in our landscaped garden, and is an oasis of tranquillity and calm. With its beautiful, lush entrance and unique views of Mjøsa, this is an experience out of the ordinary. The suite has a small bathroom with clawfoot bathtub, a small kitchen, fireplace, and a romantic wrought iron bed. Our delicious breakfast based on local produce is served in the restaurant, and if you wish to join us for dinner this is served in the farm’s old pig barn. Perhaps a relaxing massage should be added to the experience too?

SHORTEST WAY FROM THE FIELD TO YOUR TABLE.

Our delicious farm breakfast with local ingredients is served in the restaurant and if desired, you can enjoy a better dinner in the old pig house on the farm. We never take shortcuts in the kitchen, except when it comes to the ingredients. The chefs use what the farm and the surrounding area have to offer, from potatoes, barley and chicken to rhubarb and grapes from the garden. Otherwise, we choose the best, Norwegian raw materials in general.

BATH HOUSE, SAUNA AND HOT TUB

Right down by the water's edge and with lake Mjøsa as our nearest neighbour, you will find our bathhouse, located in connection with our bathing jetty. Offering peace and well-being, this house offers a fireplace lounge for relaxation and quality time with the lapping of waves right outside the door.

The sauna adjacent to the bathhouse is inspired by the farm's own potato cellar and resembles a built-in vault/cave that blends perfectly into the terrain. The sauna connects you closely to nature and Mjøsa. Treat yourself to a delicious and relaxing time by the water's edge. After some time in the sauna, it is refreshing to have a delicious bath in Mjøsa followed by a good and warm experience in our outdoor hot tub. The bath house, sauna and hot tub are available to all guests, but must be booked in advance.

We welcome private and corporate guests, businesses, associations and cultural entities, and are happy to provide bespoke catering and accommodation packages based on numbers and requirements. The farm has 36 rooms, sleeping a total of 65 people. In addition, Hoel Gård collaborate with other accommodation providers. Hoel Gård offer accommodation all year round for individuals/groups.
