The Cider House in Balestrand is situated in an orchard with 100 different varieties
of fruit. The Cider House produces still cider, sparkling cider and fruit wines.
From the distillery you can taste different fruit brandies.
At the Cider House you will be able to purchase Balholm fruit juices, honey and food souvenirs made from fruit and berries.
From mid-June to mid-August our summer restaurant is open from Sunday to Friday, 16-22.
(The kitchen closes at 21.30)
Saturdays closed due to private events.
On our menu you will find dishes with local produce, inspired by the Mediterranean cuisine.
As far as possible, local and organic produce is used.
On request (groups of min 15 pers)
On request we can provide groups a guided tour from the village centre, included cider tasting, interpretation about fruit and cider production.

(Due to Norwegian legislation, we are not allowed to sell bottles of alcohol for take away.
Our customers are invited to taste and enjoy our alcoholic beverages in our restaurant.)
