The Coastal Path in Kragerø

The coastal Path in Kragerø runs from the Bamble border in the northeast to the Risør border in the south, stretching 42 km. The trail is divided into three distances: Fossing- Helle, Helle - Kragerø and Kragerø - Ellingsvika.

The coastal path in Kragerø is part of a project that starts in Oslo and ends in Stavanger. The idea for this path is to use the old road systems that once went along the waterfront. Along the trail there are some remains of the old trade routes.

It runs along the seafront where it is possible, but have several detours into the forest or over ridges where it is needed. You can start anywhere on the trail at a blue mark. They lead to either a starting- or endpoint.

Maps for these paths "Kyststien" can be bought at the Servicecenter, Kragerø bookstore (Kystbokhandelen), Kragerø bibliotek and Westgaard landhandel (supermarket at Stabbestad penisula).
