The food hall in Oppdal

Welcome to Mathallen in Oppdal!

Step into an atmospheric food hall filled with locally sourced delicacies, flavorful cheeses, locally brewed beer, and the very best of local Oppdal lamb. Not least, you’ll find the stone-oven bakery Sprø, where you can buy freshly baked goods and freshly ground coffee.

Here, local farmers and niche producers sell their own handcrafted products. Local food from Oppdal has flourished in recent years, thanks to Mathallen in Oppdal, which has created a larger arena and an exciting sales channel for a small, local market.

Here you’ll experience traditional flavors with a modern twist. You’ll find both cheese and sausage counters featuring local ingredients as well as international specialties, such as exclusive Italian salami and cured ham – or how about a fine, slightly moldy French cheese? In the food hall’s freezer section, you’ll also find plenty of delicious options – everything from fish from local rivers and buttered tykklefser, to capercaillie and grouse that you’ll need to pluck yourself.

They also offer catering with hot dishes in addition to cold buffets. Take a look at their catering menu and place your order easily to enjoy truly great, local food at your next event.
