The homestead museum of Hernestangen
The museum consists of the redecorated Kåven, the cogged room and a cottage. The museum is located in former Hernes farm with a farmhouse, traditional storehouse and a "Salen", an annex building which today is a market for art and culture.
The Association of History in Royken welcomes you to museum days at Hernestangen in Jerdal. After tremendous effort and many hours of voulentary work, as well as support from Røyken municipality the museum is now a visit worthwhile.
